Santa’s got his list, and here at CertiPUR-US®, we have a list that matters, too. It’s our directory of participating companies and brands.

The most common question we regularly get from consumers goes something like this: “I’m about to buy a mattress — or sofa — and I see your logo on the company’s website (or Amazon webpage), but I don’t see them listed in your directory.”

So, here’s the thing: If they aren’t listed in our directory, they are either naughty or confused.

When we established CertiPUR-US, we anticipated that there would be companies that would say their foam was certified when it wasn’t. So, we built in safeguards because our whole organization is based on consumer service, integrity and transparency.

One safeguard is that we keep an up-to-date list of the companies and brands that have registered with us and for whom we have verification that they are using CertiPUR-US® certified foam in their mattresses, pillows, bedding accessories and upholstered furniture. We have registered companies using certified foam in dog beds and medical sleep-related products, too!

Some unlisted companies may be naughty and falsely claiming they use certified foam, but sometimes companies are just confused. They may be using certified foam but don’t realize they have to register with us and go through our verification process to get listed on our website. It’s free, so there’s no reason not to be listed.

If the company is not listed, don’t assume they are using certified foam. We simply can’t be sure because we have no verification.

When we learn about companies that are using our trademarked name and logo without our permission, we don’t send them coal, but our compliance team does work to track down these companies and notify them that they need to register with us or stop using our name and logo. But we can’t be everywhere. While Amazon Basics uses certified foam, other companies selling on Amazon are particularly difficult for us to track down.

The directory allows you to search for companies selling home furnishings containing CertiPUR-US certified foam by company name, type, brands, product category and location.
